What you MUST KNOW if you are registering for full credit course(s) (6 credit hours):
Full Credit Courses, now referred to as XX and YY.
- Courses historically taught over the academic year are now split into 2 parts.
- Students must register for the same section in both the September and January terms.
- These courses are identified by the section letters XX and YY.
- Please note: if the XX section is full, then the YY term is considered not available to register in.
For example, a student registering for PHIL 1200 AXX in the September to December term must also register for PHIL 1200 AYY in the January to April term.
The Registrar's Office will run regular checks on these courses and will alter a student's course selection to remedy any problems.
Credit Hours = Replace Credits
0.5 credits= 3 credit hours
1.0 credits = 6 credit hours.
The 3 year, 15 credit program becomes a 3 year, 90 credit hours program.
The 4 year, 20 credit program becomes a 4 year, 120 credit hours program.
